This black platted California car was stored in a barn for 22yrs and by the remnants left behind I would say it housed a few rabbits in its day. Amazing all was in tact but in need of a complete restoration. When I removed the carpet you could tell it had never been out of the car before, the build sheet was still tapped to the floor. And there in the fold under the drivers seat was a brass key with a alligator clip soldered to it the toke still firmly in its grasp, zig-zag papers at the ready were also located. The car is a one owner 65k original miles and was built at the San Jose plant, sold new from Theador Robins Ford Costa Mesa Ca.I live on the east coast in Canada and it makes for a very interesting story how I came to get this car. I would like to thank Juvenal Rosa and his good wife Rosalie from Laton Ca. who intervened to aquire the car. The car has now received a complete restoration and is very well received where ever I take it. And it sure is a blast to drive.
